Rick de la Fuente
Hi i'm octane + subscriber and i use Blender and Houdini, so in octane special edition kits i wonder, why isn't other programs than c4d, 3dmax and maya supported with octane render. actually i have to import as FBX and setup my self in order to use them so... why not ? please think about it. specially for octane subscribers for sure will be a plus. thanks
Rick de la Fuente Onur Nidayi I'd be more than happy to explain the reason why.
If you are an Octane Subscriber, you can get the Otoy Special Edition Kits for free! This is a limited-time offer from them, and only available with certain versions of their software. If your desired software version is not included, you will need to purchase the Standard package, which comes with other supported software.
Steven Ibale: Thanks Steven, my request is different. Becuase Octane is available for Blender, it would make sense for Kitbash to make the kits compatible with Octane Blender. This opens it up for more people and Octane Kits are available for other 3Dsoftware. I'm just wondering why it hasn't been done for Blender please. Thank you
Hello, I totally agree with this. I have Blender as well and stopped using Cinema 4D. I have already contacted Kitbash Re this
