Really great ideas here! If there were 5 assets that you would want to see in this kit, what would they be?

Michael Reese: I think the kit could be focused on a collection of different 'pods' each with portals so that corridor sections could connect them. Similar to the Minerva and Space Colony kits.... but less clean and more industrial looking with bigger focus on interior. Maybe similar to aesthetic of present day oil rig or cargo ship interiors for crew-focused areas mixed with engineering/industrial accents for the plant and services that would support the base's operations/functionality.
Some ideas for asset assemblies would include:
1) A central command hub 'pod' with monitoring for all operations through different 'stations'. Think a blend of a power plant control room (aesthetic and functionality) with a flight operation command centre at NASA or SpaceX (monitoring/functionality).
2) A launch bay/platform 'pod' which houses a range of submersible vehicles that can be either be tethered at platform level or hoisted out of the water via a ceiling crane for maintenance etc.
3) Crew living quarters 'pod' with spaces for dorms and recreation. Also a kitchen and main dining area.
4) An engineering 'pod' which include some type of power plant and air filtering operations.
5) A research 'pod' which includes science bays for research of underwater species/artefacts found and also for food production so the base can be somewhat self-sustaining.
6) A detachable 'pod' that features semi-independent systems such as power, mobility and breathable air production for short term missions to extract resources from the ocean floor.
Vehicles could include a range of submersible craft of different sizes to support research, resource collection, scouting and servicing of the exterior of the base. Also a special 'shuttle' for transporting crew to and from the surface.
There would also be a support ship that floats on the surface above the base, ready to assist in emergencies or supply runs/crew changes etc. There could some type of umbilical connection but that could be optional.
There would be a range of smaller assets to help populate the above areas and a collection of different 'corridor' sections that would allow connection of the pods and support a very modular approach to base construction.
I feel a set like this would support a range of different a narratives from science to resource extraction and could be a great setting for genres in games and film from exploration to adventure to disaster and horror.
As previously mentioned, the focus of the modular base 'pods' would be their interior. The exteriors would still need designing but they could be a lot less detailed compared to your existing kit exteriors. It would be good to see Kitbash 3D start to provide kits that had detailed interiors to support a whole new range of productions that focus on detailed interior locations. This has been attempted with your 'Secret Labs' kit, but I would argue that didn't feature enough 'structural' components to make it entirely useful.
I actually work as a production designer/world builder for an XR company so would be happy to assist with more ideation if required.
Hope this helps.

James Field: This is really excellent! Thank you so much James!!

The platform with underwater section from Megalodon would be cool too!
