[Bug] Installing Plugin Download Error

guys i had the same issue with it would say error in downloading in step 2, mine worked when i ran the app as administrator with the app im installing to closed. hope this helps someone

Just downloaded Cargo and I'm trying to connect it to Unreal Engine - having issues with errors in downloading. I finish step 1, go to step 2 and hit download, and it runs for like maybe a second before giving me the error message. I looked through the troubleshooting page but I don't think those are the roadblocks I'm hitting. We've bought and downloaded assets before and brought them into unreal with no problem, so I'm not sure why I'm having issues with Cargo

KaitFitz: You may have already seen my comment below, but this error message could be caused by a number of different instances so it's difficult to tell what exactly is triggering this.
We've seen this issue as a result of VPN, network security, or firewall settings. If that applies, I recommend following the steps in our troubleshooting guide to white list any Cargo-related domains: https://help.kitbash3d.com/en/articles/7892079-troubleshooting-network-security-and-firewalls
In addition, we've seen users have success when switching to a hard-wired internet connection rather than wifi.
Lastly, we've seen users get past this error by restarting Cargo and trying again.
If any of those are not the case, please let me know.

I'm having the same issue. I choose C4D, choose v2023 and after a short attempt, I receive the error "There was an error with the download. Please try again later."

Hey, i have the same problem with cargo. I try to install it for maya 2023 with the cargo v1.0.11. :(

This could also be caused by additional add-ons you're using in Blender, so check out Step 5 as well to find any problematic add-ons.

I have the same issue but with c4d r26 and 2023. I tried both setups.

Shelby Goldstein I have been trying to install and setup Cargo for a week. I have redownloaded 3 times, and with v1.0.10 I am still having issues installing the plugin.
My guesses at issues:
Only selectable Blender install option is 3.1, this just screams problematic, but I can't be sure how it works.
Local to online link, but this could be login or simple background network connection issue.
Can anyone confirm that the current version has been checked for the proper asset (app/plugin) linking? Are there any unnecessary steps in the way that can be removed for a simple workflow?
