I get signed out every time i close the software, even if i choose to remember the password, could it be cookie related?

Maxx Burman: In case it helps, this happens sometimes and not others. Could it be your cloud provider? (Good grief! I thought clouds used to be free! Ha.)
Also, not sure, but it may be more likely if I'm downloading a file and close Cargo. I rarely do that, but may have yesterday. And the problem has persisted since. Now I have to log in every time. (Coincidence?? Worth passing to developers, just in case?)
Maxx Burman
Leland Green: Thank you for the added information! We've identified the issue and have a few deeper under the hood challenges we need to resolve in order to get this fixed! It's a bit of a nesting dolls situation with this bug, and more involved than meets the eye, but we're on it :)

Maxx Burman: You're welcome. I didn't expect an update, but thank you.
I've been a developer since before C++ came along. So any time I think I see a pattern, I like to report it.
Seems like this didn't happen to me forever, but then it did. So maybe this rabbit hole will lead to the "final doll". :)

OK So I am seeing a pattern. The Cargo UI remains open, even when "Cargo" is crashing. I didn't understand why I was being prompted to send a crash report on opening Cargo, but cargo was logged in and open and didn't close.
Now here's what's happening
Launch Cargo app
Launch blender
do some stuff importing stuff to blender.
leave blender, come back to blender, do stuff - meanwhile Cargo sits in the background - CRASHING (I dunno what's causing it because it crashes silently and literally with no visible signs of crashing until I go to import another item...
I Click "Import" for another item and I get booted back to the login screen... with NO SAVED CREDENTIALS! BOO
anyway... we'll see if Maxx Burman replies to this. ;-) Dude thank you for any help you can offer, and if you need any additional info - I'll provide it. Note I have sent at least 3 maybe 4 crash reports so far.
Maxx Burman
There is a known bug where the "Cargo has crashed" screen appears often, even when no crash has occurred. We're working on that, but not sure if that's related to the sign out issues that you're experiencing.
We're looking into the sign out issues as well, but we have a few higher priority critical bugs that our team is focused on at the moment. Marking this as planned, and we'll post an update here as soon as we have more info. Apologies for the annoyance of this!

Maxx Burman: Thanks Max - it's a pretty frequent occurrence, but I get it, small team, lots of dcc apps to support.
Really hope that the clearing of the credentials can be fixed, having to go grab secure passwords (that are not really memorable) is beyond an annoyance.
<3 if kitbash kits weren't so awesome, I'd have given up by now and come back in a year when this is all sorted, but... you know the kits are your saving grace. ;-) that and this is way better than parsing the entire kits. so... tahnky ou and good luck!
Maxx Burman
Chris Keller: Thank you Chris. We really appreciate your understanding. Definitely early days for Cargo and our small but mighty team trying to stand up a lot of moving parts at once. That said, these small annoyances add up, so we'll make sure to get them in an upcoming release asap.

Maxx Burman: lemme know if i can help test / validate. now that i have a working solution (a stand alone blender config template launch), i feel much better and completely confident that I wont be struggling to get back up and running each release hahah.👍
