The initial test works, but now no models work for C4D 2023.2.2. and Redshift 3.5.16. They did work for 1.0.8.

Materials won't import with models

I downloaded the cargo kit and connect it to cinema but for some reason, the materials won't import with the models. it all comes up as missing. not even through regular display.

Error 101 for most models still, but some models have worked from the emergency kit. Materials work, so I believe it's a cache issue. the main issue is importing assets, only 2 imports have worked on both R26 and R2023, no other object has imported, it just doesn't load anything in c4d. checked the console log in c4d and it doesn't show any activity when this issue occurs.

Cargo installation error. Plugin installed but cannot find 3D softare when trying to import an asset.

Hi. I just tried installing Cargo on Blender and C4D. The installation progress seems to go correctly, until the Castle sample asset is set to be imported. The asset never gets imported into either software and yet the installation windows says the import has been succesful. As soon as I try to import another asset from my kits it says that the 3D software cannot be found.

I select a model and it says it downloads. I select iMPORT and i can tell something is happening, but then nothing imports into c4D. No model. I reinstalled the plugin, making sure C4D wasn't up. I am using 2023 and cargo 1.07. Everyting on my Windows machine has been updated, including the Nvidia Driver. NO models import for any render engine.

Exactly the same issue. Have uninstalled, re-installed numerous times. No change. On occasion have got one model to load but that's it. Then C4D hangs. C4D is not going into not responding in task manager so it seems to be doing something but have left for over an hour and still nothing. It works with unreal and Blender so can see how it's supposed to work but these are not the software I use and have paid for Cargo Pro for.

Any update on this? It's an extremely expensive bit of software for a single artist for it not to be working. What does planned mean?

Can you perhaps send me a link to download version 1.08 if that works?

I'm on Cargo 1.0.9 using the Future Warfare kit atm and it only loads assets randomly. Sometimes they import, sometimes they don't. It's mainly the larger assets like the buildings that won't import. On latest C4d and Octane plugin

sharon palkowetz, thank you for reporting this feedback! Could you try updating Cargo to the latest version (v1.0.8) and trying again to see if the issue is resolved with the update? If not, please follow up and let me know it's still an issue so we can further investigate.

Shelby Goldstein: Hi shelby. It seems to be working now for Medieval for my office PC. I will test this at home tonight and see if it's working there. It all seems to be working, except that I purchased Egypt and it's not showing up as owned. Thanks!
