[Bug] Stuck on "Set up software" loop

I go through the installation process, import the castle model, but the "Welcome...Set up software" screen within cargo never goes away and I cannot click out of it, thus meaning I cannot import anything but that initial test castle model. I have uninstalled, re-installed, deactivated and reactivated, and removed and installed it within blender as well. Using Blender 3.4, Cargo 1.0.3

For those experiencing this issue, follow the troubleshooting steps below to resolve the issue:
- Navigate to: %APPDATA%\kitbash3d
- Delete the file: cargo_v1.sqlite
- Sign out and back into Cargo
- Try going through Software Setup again

Cargo Houdini Loop

When trying to install Cargo for Houdini Indie, my installation loops. After importing the Castle, it takes me back to
"Welcome to Cargo!
Before you dive in, let’s get Cargo connected to your 3D software.
This should take about 2 minutes."
I cannot get past it. I uninstalled Cargo and reinstalled. I have also deleted previous versions of Houdini in the attempt it might be confused, but to no avail.

Note that once you delete cargo_v1.sqlite, your download history goes with it. But that is a small price to pay for dealing with a program that puts you into an endless loop of requesting an update and then not downloading the plugin.

OMG. I had a similar issue and just read in the notes where another person had the same issue with Blender. Cargo would give me a lets set-up your software screen as I was logging in. That screen would lock out all of Cargo and could not be moved so I could not even log in.
Fortunately, Steve from KB3D gave me this advice which worked:

Juan. I had the same issue with C4D. Very frustrating but this fix from Steve at KB3D did the trick:

Hey Juan Feju, when does this occur? Are you prompted to set up software any time you sign into Cargo? Does the software setup window pop up unprompted at random? If you could provide some more detail regarding the steps you took prior to getting this result, that would help our team understand what may be causing this issue.

Juan Feju: Are you still experiencing this issue? If so, please send a screenshot of the pop-up you're seeing before signing in. If you're still experiencing this issue, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling Cargo again.

This user is stuck on V1.0.2 and is unable to update because the software setup window pops up, preventing any further action.
Every time I open Cargo, I get the Welcome screen with a prompt to set up software. I have successfully installed the software last week. Why does this keep popping up? It makes using the program impossible...
The update window only displays for one second, then Software Setup screen.

I have been successful at Cargo and yesterday practiced and downloaded. Planned on creating this morning but Cargo will not allow assess to Models. Stuck in setup mode. Set several darn times still stuck. Frustrating!
Worked in 5.2 and my system well yesterday afternoon
