Cargo no longer working with C4D 2024. HELP!

Andre Sam
I am unable to use Cargo with C4D 2024 any longer. I have uninstalled, reinstalled tried all of the suggestions. Whenever I try to import a model it crashes C4D 2024. This has always been buggy, but now Cargo is completely unusable with C4D 2024. I know 2025 is still not even supported so I was hoping to get my project done with C4D 2024, but Cargo crashes C4D every time. Yes, I am using the latest version of Cargo. I am working on a PC. It seems as though many people are also having this issue. I really hoped it would be fixed by the New Year, but same problem. I am not getting the value of my subscription and would like to know if Kitbash is offering refunds for all of the time that this is unusable with C4D. I have tried it with Unreal 5.4 and cargo works fine there so there must be some major issue with C4D 2024 , if so many people are having this same issue. Please let me know when you will have working solution for this as well as an update to use with C4D 2025. Very disappointed with this subscription, may have to just cancel. Please let me know what fixes are in the works and when we will be getting them. I ask all of you to please reach out to Kitbash if you are having the same issues with C4D 2024. Very frustrating.
Thank you

Hi Andre Sam, I'm sorry that you've been unable to import assets into C4D 2024.
Since you're experiencing blockers importing we'll need to receive a few system logs from you, please take the below steps and write into our Support Team by using the chat on kitbash3d.com or info@kitbash3d.com.
In the File Explorer, navigate to: Windows: C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\kitbash3d\Logs\cargo.log
There are two logs here: cargo.log and cargo-platform-services.log.
Zip up this folder with both logs from the date you experienced the issue and send it over to us.
We'll get back to you as soon as our team is able to review the logs.
C4D crash logs:
To review the crash logs from C4D to learn more about why C4D is crashing, take the below steps:
Open Cinema 4D
Go to the 'Console' window:
On Windows: Navigate to Window > Console.
On Mac: Go to Window > Console in the top menu.
The console window will show you real-time logs, errors, and messages generated by Cinema 4D, which can provide hints about what is causing the crash.
