Cargo rarely lets me sign in, and when it does, I get the 107 Unknown Download Error

I upgraded to Pro last week, and updated to the latest version of Cargo so that I can use assets within Blender 4. However, I have two issues that are seriously stopping me using Cargo at all
When I open Cargo, I get no chance to log in before the "Sign In" button becomes greyed out - sometimes restarting Cargo helps, but most of the time it doesn't. It doesn't seem to matter how long I leave it, I cannot log in (occasionally I get taken to a screen that says "Weare currently making Cargo better" and then get taken back to the log in screen
On the odd occasion that I can log in, I nearly always get the Error 107: Unknown Download Error (I have submitted a ticket for this) - I have followed all the steps in the article, and it doesn't make any difference
At the moment, the software doesn't seem fit for purpose - I hope that there are solutions for this (weirdly it seemed to work fine until I upgraded to 1.1.2 and signed up for Pro - not sure if either of these would cause the problems that I am now having)
All other Blender plugins that I am using work fine, and there are no errors in Blender - just in Cargo

Same. Just stuck on the sign in page. Very frustrating.

Same here, I can't even get past the greyed out "sign in" button on Cargo. Has been like this for at least 3 weeks. I have to reinstall the program to get it to work for even a little while.

I\m using Cargo in several Unreal 5.x projects.
Login goes fine with me, though unlike before, I have to login each time, even if I have "Remember me" checked. Second, downloads MAY start (progress bar appears) but will stall after some time or won't start at all: theer is NO NETWORK TRAFFIC AT ALL; subsequent downloads of other assets are set "in queue" - which is correct, if the running downloads are not yet ended (correctly or in this 107 error).
I checked the account settings and these are still valid.
I have removed Cargo completely, rebooted the system and reinstalled it again, but the problem is not solved.
Also followed the steps as in the merged post by Steven Chen, but that did not help either. But I noticed that the directory structure in the download folders will be created, but these do not contain data.
Also removed C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\kitbash3d as well, that caused a new installation. Download still did not happen, but there was a downloader.json file. When I entered each "fileUrl" content, the files were indeed downloaded - up top a certain point where the result was :

(xxxxxx is a different code on each)

Steven Chen: can you indicate when this might become In Progress, as it is affecting many people, and is effectively stopping people using the software that they have paid for, which isn't good enough. Of you are going to take the money, please make the software work.

Tried the steps below but it's still showing that error message.
Step 1: Restart your computer
Step 2: Check to ensure Cargo’s Download location is still valid (in the Account Settings)
Step 3: Delete all the downloads in Cargo download folder including the json file C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\kitbash3d
Step 4: Restart Cargo and Re-download your selected asset.
