After much anticipation, we're thrilled to announce the release of Cargo for macOS Beta, a milestone that brings one of our most requested features to life. Mac users can now easily access over 20,000 high-quality assets within Cargo, ready to import directly into Blender, Unreal Engine, and Cinema4D.
Your continued feedback will be instrumental in helping us further improve. Thank you to our incredible community for your patience, support, and enthusiasm throughout this journey.
If your DCC support isn’t covered yet, stay tuned for more updates as we continue to expand compatibility and feel free to waitlist for those updates here: https://kitbash3d.com/pages/cargo-mac-waitlist

Is Cargo going to be available for Intel-based Macs?

Will you be supporting Intel-based MACs? Unfortunately, my MAC was the last model before they switched over. Really would like to use Cargo in my workflow.

It's only Apple Silicon :-(
Do you have plan for Mac Intel ? I have a MacPro 2019 with three graphic cards who is speeder than actual Apple SIlicon and I need Cargo.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the efforts to make this a quality product. It will save time, disk space, and help make better scenes.
There is one thing I noticed, on the material import, it is a very basic set-up. I'd like the ability to import a pre-defined set-up if possible. As usual, the textures themselves are outstanding and the detail is appreciated.

We have another update for our Mac community! We’re expanding the Cargo for Mac Alpha to include Cinema 4D users. If you’re a Cinema 4D user, check your inbox for your invite and be sure to join the Discord to get started! Just a note that we are starting with support for just 2024.5, we have plans of backwards compatibility but support for previous versions won't be immediately available.
With this update, we’re also rolling out our first set of bug fixes. Big thank you to our existing Alpha users for your valuable feedback—it’s already helping us improve the experience.
If you’re not on the Alpha yet, don’t worry — additional DCC support is on the way. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to expand the Alpha!
If you’d like to be part of future invites, make sure to join the waitlist here: https://kitbash3d.com/pages/cargo-mac-waitlist

Thanks for keeping me in the loop. I still use Modo on my iMac and look forward to being able to use Cargo in the near future. Good luck with the testing.
