I have the same issue, ever since I put my device to sleep with Cargo open.
KitBash3D: Do you use authentication tokens? If you use an encrypted connection, you can allow those tokens to remain valid across connections.
Just encrypt the token with "username + password", somehow.
Plus
use a secure connection. Then keep a database of valid tokens and who they belong to. (Possibly with creation/expiration time?)(This
should
prevent MITM attacks and you could limit users to connect from only one machine, which you probably do...)🖖😎

Hey all, thanks for reporting the issue - we're aware of this and will have a fix coming out for it shortly. Apologies for the inconvenience. I completely understand how frustrating this is.

Hello,
Just want to report a bug within Caro v1.1.3 - Nothing severe but just a bit of an annoy thing when trying to open up Cargo, I have to constantly login even though I checked the box for remember me.
Never had this issue before v1.1.1 but ever since the update with v1.1.2 and v1.1.3 I have to keep logging onto it.
Running on a newer computer with Windows 11 as previously I was working on an old computer with Windows 10.

Hi, same thing here and it's pretty annoying since there's a 25% chance UE5 and Cargo crash when importing an asset from Cargo and I then have to log back in manually every time

Now fixed. Thank you.

If it could actually remember me, this would be huge! Alas, I do not think our technology is advanced enough for that.

Marco Chacon: Yes, using an encrypted connection to the Cargo server, and then an encrypted token, they would be able to. There are less secure ways. They could include a machine ID, but the token is essentially a machine ID when implemented properly.
They could automatically disconnect you your desktop when you connect from your laptop. Stuff like that. 🖖😎

Leland Green: just having the client store my name and password and auto-populate it would suit me fine. Again: I'm not sure our technology is up to that, tho ;)

Marco Chacon: oh, me, too. Thank you.
I guess I was sort of thinking about it from KB3D's perspective. :)
