Empty Textures Folder
Max D Weber
Hi, I'm experiencing an issue with textures when downloading the Soviet kit, which I bought yesterday via the OTOY Black Monday sale.
Issue 1: When downloading the kit from the website, I can't seem to choose Blender as one of the 3D software, so I just downloaded the kit as an fbx+obj zip folder. A bit of a workaround but it doesn't bother me that much. The real issue comes next
Issue 2: When downloading the fbx+obj zip, or any version of the Soviet kit for that matter (I also tried it with the c4d octane zip), the textures folder appears to be empty. I use Octane Blender and the materials convert and link nicely, but all of the textures appear bright pink and as I already mentioned, the textures folder in my explorer is empty.
Does anyone know what the issue is? Am I downloading it incorrectly?
Appreciate the help <3

Hey Max D Weber!
Downloads from our website consist of two separate zip files - one for the geometry and file structure and a separate one for the textures. This is because we allow you to choose your preferred texture resolution - in this case 2K or 4K PNGs.
If you didn't see both download, make sure you have allowed for multiple downloads from the page in your browser. More on that here: https://help.kitbash3d.com/en/articles/6449636-how-do-i-redownload-a-kit-or-download-a-different-file-format
Once you have the texture zip file, you can move it into the textures into the texture folder. If they still don't show up in your scene, you may need to relink them: https://help.kitbash3d.com/en/articles/2484227-my-kit-s-textures-aren-t-showing-up-how-do-i-relink-textures-files#h_1667c5ec3f
Finally, please note that Blender is not available for this Kit as it is not included in the OTOY Special Edition, but glad you are able to proceed with FBX+OBJ.
